Overview

A prompt is the instruction you give to an artificial intelligence. When it is well phrased, it makes all the difference between a vague answer and a result you can use straight away.

This introduction walks you step by step through the basics of a clear request: stating your goal, giving context, describing the expected result, then refining the answer over a few exchanges.

Through simple exercises and everyday examples, you will gain ease and confidence before going further with the "Writing Effective Prompts" course.
